Casey Houtz is the president and station manager of Delaware Public Media. He has been working in broadcasting for over 15 years. After graduating from James Madison University's School of Media Arts and Design, he started his career at WITF in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Casey has worked in multimedia, radio, television, post-production and live event production. Since joining Delaware Public Media in 2012 he has been the Station Manager handling day to day operations, engineering, human resources, underwriting, on air fundraising, and volunteering.
Casey has produced many features and stories that have won regional and national awards, including several National Edward R. Murrow and AP awards. When he's not working he can be found with his wife and two children.
