Nick Ciolino

Afternoon Anchor/Reporter

Nick Ciolino has lived in and around Detroit, Michigan for most of his life.

He graduated from Wayne State University with an English degree, and interned as a reporter at WDET, Detroit’s NPR affiliate station.

Nick has worked in the city as a truck driver delivering cupcakes, a tire tech in an auto shop and a beer vender at Comerica Park.

In 2014, he began spending his summers in Alaska working as a commercial fisherman, and later as a reporter at KDLG in Dillingham, covering the wild Alaskan salmon run. It is from there he came to Delaware to host All Things Considered.

When he isn’t behind the mic or on assignment, Nick is probably picking a guitar or banjo and singing a tune.
