Antlerless deer hunting begins this weekend in Delaware.

Antlerless deers include female doe and male deer with antlers less than three inches long.

The hunting period runs from Saturday, December 10 to Saturday, December 17.

Hunters can only use shotguns, muzzleloaders and crossbows during this time. They’re also required to tag a deer immediately after killing it and, register the deer within 24 hours.

A Delaware hunting license is required for anyone between the ages of 16 and 64.
