Delaware Public Media

A lucky Pennsylvania couple has claimed the winning Powerball ticket sold in Sussex County last month.

The couple, which wishes to remain anonymous, purchased the winning $121.6 million ticket at a Selbyville gas station Dec. 17.

The Delaware Lottery says the winners have opted to take the cash option worth $76. million.

The jackpot marks the second largest Delaware jackpot for a single ticket. In 2004, a winning ticket worth  $214.7 million was claimed in the First State.

In a Delaware Lottery release, the anonymous winners said they want to make donations to schools and charities, as well as travel with their family.
