Another snow day Thursday for many First State students

Wednesday’s winter storm will keep many schools in Delaware closed Thursday.

In New Castle County, Appoquinimink, Brandywine, Christina, Colonial, and Red Clay school districts are all closed. New Castle County Vo-Tech is closed for students, but offices will open 2 hours late.

In Central Delaware, Caesar Rodney, Capital, Polytech, Lake Forest, and Smyrna School Districts are closed.  Milford School District is closed to students, but staff is to report at 10 a.m.  Woodbridge School District is two hours late.

In Sussex County, Cape Henlopen School District and Sussex Tech High School are closed. Indian River School District is closed, but administrators are to report at 10 a.m. Delmar, Laurel and Seaford School Districts are opening two hours late.

The University of Delaware will open late at 10 am Thursday.

Delaware State University will open at 11am Thursday and its Wilmington campus will be closed.

 

Delaware Tech’s Stanton, Wilmington and Georgetown campuses will open at 10:30 am on Thursday.  It’s Dover campus is closed.

 

Wilmington University’s New Castle campus, Wilson Graduate Center, Brandywine location are closed.

 

Goldey-Beacom College opens at 11 am.
