Less than a month after the inaugural Big Barrel Country Music Festival in Dover, organizers say the event will return in 2016.
The festival will return to the Woodlands of Dover International Speedway June 24-26 of next year. Additional information on ticket sales and the line-up have yet to be announced.
Produced by the same groups that stage Firefly, Big Barrel’s first year headliners included married country music stars, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert along with Carrie Underwood.
Organizers say the event drew 35,000 country music fans to Dover.
Like this year - Firefly will be held the week before Big Barrel - June 16th through 19th. Although not a single act has announced for Firefly's fifth year at The Woodlands, a presale for four-day passes started Wednesday.
The presale 4-day Firefly ticket price is $249, a $50 price increase over last year.
