Delawareans – and others across the country – will have a couple of opportunities to win a life-changing amount of money this weekend.
Combined, the MegaMillions and Powerball jackpots are currently worth just over $600 million.
There’s $326 million on the line in Friday’s nights MegaMillions drawing. That’s one of the top 30 jackpots all-time in the United States. A winner could also choose to take a one-time payout of $199 million.
And the Powerball jackpot sits at $286 million heading into its next drawing Saturday night. Someone hold a winning ticket could also opt for a $178 million one time payout.
Delaware has never had a Mega Millions jackpot winner, but last December, a winning Powerball ticket worth nearly $121 million was sold at a Selbyville gas station.
