Gas prices in the First State jumped again over the past seven days as the summer driving season winds to a close.
AAA Mid-Atlantic reports the cost of a gallon of regular as up another 7 cents over the past seven days – from $2.04 to $2.11.
That’s an 18-cent increase over the past three weeks, but the price is still 22 cents below the $2.33 Delaware drivers were paying a year ago.
According to Delawaregasprices.com, just over a half dozen stations around the state selling a gallon of regular under 2 dollars a gallon – mainly in New Castle County.
The national average also rose last week, up five cents from $2.16 to $2.21.
