Delaware hunters harvested a record breaking number of deer this season.
Hunters killed more than 14,700 deer in the 2016-2017 season, up 60 from last year.
Sussex County hunters harvested almost 7,700 deer. Kent County took in 4,400 and New Castle County hunters harvested almost 2,700.

Almost 1,200 deer were killed during the five Sundays open to deer hunting.
