Delawareans have two chances to win big jackpots this weekend

Lottery fever is building in the First State.

A pair of huge jackpots, totaling over 700 million dollars, are up for grabs this weekend.

Mega Millions hasn’t a jackpot winner since late April – so 382 million dollars is on the line in tonight’s (Friday’s) drawing. That’s the 18th biggest lottery prize in U.S. history and the largest Mega Millions jackpot since a 536 million dollar prize was handed out in July 2016.

And if you don’t win that, there’s always Saturday’s Powerball drawing.  That’s worth 356 million dollars, putting it 21st on the all-time list of top prizes in the U.S.

Delaware Lottery officials say its the first time the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots have been over $350 million dollars at the same time.

Delaware is still looking for its first ever Mega Millions jackpot winner. It’s last Powerball winner came in December when a winning ticket worth nearly $122 million was sold at a Selbyville gas station.

The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are one in 258 million.

The Powerball odds are about one in 292 million
