DowDupont is planning to move jobs from Pennsylvania to Delaware

DowDupont

Dow Chemical merged with DuPont back in August - creating a 103 billion dollar company. It is now consolidating operations ahead of breaking into three smaller entities - two of which will call Delaware home.

One of the two new companies settling here is Specialty Products -- and DowDupont is shifting the portion of that business currently in Collegeville, Pennsylvania to the Experimental Station in Wilmington.

The move is set to take place by March of next year, and it could result in a transfer of as many as 150 jobs.

DowDupont spokesman Dan Turner said in an email the move will allow commercial and research and development teams to work more closely together.
