The Rehoboth Art League’s latest exhibition - Small Works, Big Heart - arrives this week.
All RAL members were welcome to participate in the exhibition, which opens Friday, and the group’s Artistic Director Jay Pastore says the response was overwhelming.
“There’s actually, I counted them, we hung 225 of them yesterday and there are a 100 left. So we have over 300 works in this exhibition; it’s a lot of artwork,” said Pastorw
Pastore says the exhibition features a variety of media.
“There’s many types of works. There’s oil painting, acrylics, mixed-media paintings, pastels, drawings, photography, lots of mosaics; actually there’s some ceramic works that are encased in a frame and hung on the wall which are interesting,” said Pastore.
The opening reception forSmall Works, Big Heart is Friday night from 5 to 7 p-m Friday night at the Rehoboth Art League on Dodds Lane in Henlopen Acres.
It is free and open to the public.
