Work from legendary installation artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude will soon be on display at the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover.
The exhibition chronicles the more than 40 year career of the husband and wife team known for huge installation artwork across the globe.
Biggs Curator Ryan Grover said the exhibition provides a peek into the artists’ process with work they completed between major projects.
"These are drawings, collages, photographs, original works of art, some sculptures that help to describe most of the large-scale installations that Christo and Jeanne-Claude have done in both the natural environment and also within urban environments, since really since the mid-60s."
Jeanne-Claude died in 2009, but her husband continues to work on planned installations, like a 2016 series of floating cubes on a lake in Italy called The Floating.
The exhibit opens August 4 in Dover.
