Gas prices down slightly in Delaware

Delaware Public Media

First State gas prices remain on a bit of a roller coaster ride.

AAA Mid-Atlantic reports the cost of a gallon of regular dropped three cents over the past 7 days - from to $2.13 to $2.16.  That’s after rising two cents the week before, and falling a penny two weeks ago.

Delaware drivers are now paying about 8 cents less than what they were a year ago when the average price was $2.22.

Delawaregasprices.com says just over a half dozen stations – mostly in New Castle County - have prices at $2.02 or lower – including a pair at $1.99.

The national average was down 2 cents last week – from $2.24 to $2.22.
