Gas prices hold steady in Delaware

Delaware Public Media

There was little change in First State gas prices last week.

AAA Mid-Atlantic reports the cost of a gallon of regular dropped a penny over the past 7 days - from to $2.13 to $2.12.

But Delawaregasprices.com notes a half dozen stations across the state are charging less than two dollars a gallon and a dozen stations have prices below $2.02.

And Delaware drivers are now paying four cents more than they were a year ago when the average price was $2.18.

The national average was down four cents– from $2.22 to $2.18.
