A celebration of all things geek hits The First State in early November.
Featuring a celebration of comic books, video games and tabletop games, Thy Geekdom Con brings so-called “nerdy” culture together.
"We have a whole video game room that has tournaments and indie developers that make their own games," Founder Chris Cicero said.
Cicero started the event because he wanted a place for gamers, cosplayers and movie buffs to come together under one roof.
“All the interests are in one place and it can have a little bit of everything," Cicero said.
He chose Wilmington for the event because it’s close to metropolitan areas and the state has a strong comic culture fanbase and roots.
Thy Geekdom Con is November 5.
