Keith Hunt named the state’s Chief Diversity Officer

State of Delaware

Keith Hunt comes to Delaware from the human resources organization Human Capital Solutions where he worked as Managing Director.

Legislation earlier this year established the state’s Department of Human Resources along with its Division of Diversity and Inclusion.

Hunt was selected to be Chief Diversity Officer following a national search headed by Acting Secretary Sandy Johnson.

In a statement, she said she was confident with Hunt’s H-R experience and added, “He will work collaboratively with employees and community stakeholders to create a different and finer work culture for state government.”

Gov. Carney’s Executive Order Six established a uniform anti-discrimination policy for state government.

Hunt starts work December 18th.

In  a statement, Hunt said: “I am looking forward to joining the Human Resources team as we work in partnership with all the state leadership, employees, and key stakeholders in bringing about a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.”
