Local police search for man wanted in Maryland office park, Wilmington shootings

Local law enforcement has joined the search for a man wanted in connection with a Maryland office park shooting Wednesday morning.

Wilmington Police say they are working with federal and other regional agencies to find 37 year-old Radee Prince.

Price is wanted in for a shooting at an office park in Edgewood, Maryland around nine this morning that left 3 people dead and two more seriously injured.  He’s also wanted for another shooting around 10:45 at 28th Street Auto Sales and Service on Northeast Boulevard in northeast Wilmington. One man was shot in the head there, but was conscious and alert and identified the shooter as Price.

Police believe Price to be armed and dangerous, but Wilmington Police Chief Robert Tracy emphasized these were not random acts.

"From what we know right now, everyone of the victims that this victim shot - the victims and the offender knew each other.  So these were targeted shootings.  For whatever reason, this person, his motive was to go out and shoot these people." Tracy said.

Prince was last seen driving a Black 2008 GMC Acadia SUV with Delaware tags (PC64273).

Police say he has family in the Wilmington area and has a residence in Belvedere at 500 block of Kiamensi Road.  Nearby Delcastle Technical High School was placed on lockdown.

Many other schools in the area, including those in the Red Clay and Brandywine School Districts, were placed on "modified lockdown,"  which kept students inside.  Those districts and the Christina School District, have also cancelled all after school and evening activities.

Police are asking anyone with information about Prince or his whereabouts to call 302-576-3635 or 1-800-call-FBI.
