Rehoboth Beach Commissioner Kathy McGuiness sees a couple of key issues separating her from the rest of pack seeking the Democratic nomination for Lt. Governor.

McGuiness says she can can help Delaware lead on an issue like closing the gender pay gap.

“I think the state could play a vital role to make sure that men and women are guaranteed equal pay for equal work.” said McGuiness.

McGuiness adds she'd also advocate for increasing paid family leave in Delaware to help give workers a proper work-life balance.

McGuiness says she'd also partner with the next governor on developing an anti-poverty plan, adding she believes Democrat John Carney will be that next governor.
