The Delaware music ensemble is partnering with CAMP Rehoboth for a new three-part concert series in Sussex County.

Melomanie is a five person music group that focuses on playing certain contemporary pieces and Baroque music.

"Which is historic music from the 1600’s through a lot of the 1700’s. And we play those on period instruments," Co-Artistic Director Tracy Richardson said.

She said the group couldn’t pass up a chance to perform at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center.

“We played one concert there last spring and the reception we received from the audience was beautifully overwhelming,” Richardson added.

The first concert is November 5 and features violinist Eva Ingolf, with a performance of Scandinavian Baroque music and Icelandic folk songs.

The concert series continues with a performances February 4 and March 25 in Rehoboth.
