The Delaware Museum of Natural History has a few giant, metal sea creatures swimming in its new exhibit: Extreme Art: Underwater Sculptures by Jeff Bell.
Jennifer Acord, Communications Manager for the museum, said Bell uses found items like boilerplate covers and cable wire to create elaborate underwater creatures.
“There’s a set of jellyfish that actually ring. They make a sound in addition to being a beautiful piece of art," Acord said.
Other works include an octopus, whale and stingray.
Bell’s artwork is presented in conjunction with the Museum’s summer exhibit, Extreme Deep: Mission to the Abyss.
The Extreme Art exhibit runs through September.
