Powerball is heating up again nationwide - with no winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, the jackpot leaps to $435 million.
This jackpot is tied for the 10th largest Powerball prize ever - and the biggest since that similar $435 million prize in February was won by a man in Indiana.
Should someone win, that person can opt to take a one-time cash payout of just over $273 million.
Last December, a winning ticket worth nearly $121 million was sold here in the First State at a Selbyville gas station.
The unnamed couple who bought that ticket chose to take a cash payout option worth $74 million.
Delaware is no stranger to jackpot winners. Back in 2013 a $50 million ticket was sold in Rehoboth beach.
And 2004, an anonymous ticket holder won a nearly $215 million Powerball jackpot. They took the cash option of about $117 million.
The next Powerball drawing is this Saturday night.
