The Rehoboth Beach Film Society and CAMP Rehoboth are opening the LGBT CINE-brations Film Festival in Sussex County.
Showcasing eight feature length films and several shorts, RBFS Executive Director Sue Early said it’s an event for everyone.
"This is not just for the gay population. There is something to learn in every film as well as to entertained and enjoy," Early Said.
One film screening at the event receiving national buzz is Other People, starring former Saturday Night Live star Molly Shannon and Jesse Plemons from Breaking Bad and the Fargo miniseries.
Early said LGBT film has been a staple of the Rehoboth Beach Film Society.
"For the past 18 years the Film Society has programmed LGBT themed films in our signature event, the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival, and will continue to do so. But we thought it was an appropriate time to show an expanded assortment of those films," Early said.
The festival runs Sept. 22 - 25 at the Cinema Art Theater in Lewes.
