Winter weather causes some schools to delay opening

The threat of winter weather during morning rush hour is delaying school openings for a number of First State schools.

In New Castle County, Appoquinimink, Brandywine, Christina, Colonial, New Castle County Vo Tech and Red Clay school districts are opening two hours late.

In Central Delaware, Caesar Rodney, Capital, Polytech and Smyrna school districts are two hours late opening.
