Delaware Art Museum

Among the exhibits currently running at the Delaware Art Museum is one called "Dark Humor."

This exhibit features 19 works from University of Delaware’s African American permanent collection produced between 1970 and 2008 that explore how contemporary artists use subversive humor to question cultural and racial stereotypes.

The Delaware Symphony Orchestra

The Delaware Symphony Orchestra has followed up signing a new collective bargaining agreement with its musicians with news it’s also locked up it’s music director long-term.

Clear Space Theater

A big, green cantankerous ogre has found his voice on stage in Rehoboth Beach this summer. Shrek the Musical has been a popular show for the Clear Space Theater.

So popular that Executive Director Wesley Paulson said they are offering tickets at variable prices this Saturday night in appreciation.

Fluidity, the new four-woman exhibit at the Delaware Art Museum, explores the collective emotions of the artists.

Delaware Symphony Orchestra

The Delaware Symphony Orchestra has reached a collective bargaining agreement with its musicians.

The new three-year labor deal runs from September 1, 2016-August 31, 2019.

The Rehoboth Art League is showing visitors that exhibits don’t have to be inside. It’s 43rd annual Outdoor Show features 125 fine and craft artists on its 3.5 acre Sussex County campus.

Plenty of cape and cowl clad superheroes and villains descended upon downtown Dover over the weekend for Comic Con. Many showed up in custom-made gear, with different takes on classic characters.


Dover Comic Con

Boasting everything from X-Men to The Walking Dead, this year’s Dover Comic Con promises to be bigger than years past, with events stretching from the Dover Public Library out past The Green and down Loockerman street.
