Gov. John Carney unveils his 2018 budget proposal Thursday afternoon, offering his blueprint for bridging a shortfall that grew to $386 million based on Monday's latest state revenue estimate.

During the 2016 campaign and since winning the election, Carney has promised a budget “reset” that addresses the state’s long term structural budget issues and he's been holding town hall meetings across the state to discuss these issues solicit public input.
