13 transportation experts come together to discuss "Transformation of Transportation"

Thirteen transportation experts are coming together in Wilmington Tuesday for an event sponsored by TEDxWilmington and Triple-A Mid-Atlantic. It’s called “Who’s in the Driver’s Seat? The Transformation of Transportation:” ";s:3:"uri

Transportation issues will be in the spotlight Tuesday at “Who’s in the Driver’s Seat?  The Transformation of Transportation.” - a series of TEDx talks in Wilmington.

 

 

TEDTalks and TEDxTalks offer individuals the opportunity to educate, enlighten and share ideas with a global audience.

TEDxWilmington is partnering with AAA Mid-Atlantic for this event to present a unique series of these talks.

AAA spokesman Ken Grant says they’ll all explore the future of transportation.

"As far as we know this is the first time that there’s been a specific event like this centered around the concept of transportation," said Grant. "And we’re exploring it in several different ways; we have an incredible line-up of speakers including Maureen Ohlhousen, the acting chair of the Federal Trade Commission and John Ellis from John Ellis and Associates.”

In all, 13 speakers will give talks at the event.  It’s at The Queen on Market Street in Wilmington from 1 to 5 p-m.

 

The event costs $75 to attend. But if you’re a AAA member, you can purchase a discounted ticket for only $35.
