New website allows public to more easily lodge complaints against judges

Delaware Public Media

Those wishing to file a complaint against a Delaware judge now don’t need to stop by the courthouse to do so.

The Delaware Judiciary has launched a new website where users can download the necessary paperwork to file their complaint.

It also answers frequently asked questions about the process and a flow chart of what will happen when the courts receive their notarized complaint.

Created by a constitutional amendment in 1969, the Court of the Judiciary oversees all disciplinary action over judges.

Members of the state Supreme Court and heads of Chancery Court, Superior Court, Family Court and the Court of Common Pleas make up the body.

You can find the new website here.
